Held
by the wonder of His love for me
Held
by the cross of Calvary….
Where
God’s Son hung and died,
With
blood flowing out of His side.
Have
we really stopped to contemplate
A
justice so severe, a mercy so great?
A
forgiveness at such cost
For
the dying and the lost.
Oh,
for a heart constrained by love
To
give back to the One above…
To
forgive others as He forgave me,
So
that they, too, might have a glimpse of Calvary.
My
sins put away forever, never to be brought up again…
Only
my Saviour and I know
What
it cost Him for my sin.
