That is really exciting. Has Living Waters ever done anything like this before?

No, not that I'm aware. It was through donors that made everything possible - which is really cool.

Suppose this car finishes last or crashes - what would that mean?

Fish With Trish said...

That God wanted it to be in last place.

Tax, glad you are still alive. One day you will have to face God. Remember that your life is short. We maybe have 70 years or 80 if by reason of strength. Repent and trust in Christ while there is still time.

I'm sorry Trish, I still won't buy your tracts. :-P

But if you want to convert me, why not give me what I asked for before: evidence for the existence of your God. Why use such ineffective fear tactics?

WB Taxman,
Would you consider yourself to be a semi Biblically literate Atheist/Agnostic? Do you have a basic understanding of the Bible?

@bassicallymike:

I'd say yes. Not sure how that's relevant, though.

It would be my contention that anyone with a modicum of Biblical understanding would be aware of God's desire to relate to His created beings through faith. Not blind faith mind you, but a reasonable faith none the less.

Your continual request for evidence of Gods existence despite this from Romans, ” what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” Romans 1:19,20.

Seems as if you can either exercise faith based on what you inherently know to be true or give up asking for something that is not possible without an exercise of faith.

You are aware you are a future believer right? ”God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

I urge you to repent and voluntarily bow the knee if you have any inclination to do so.

@Tax

Glad to see you are keeping in touch.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but after our lengthy conversations here last year, I was left with the impression that even if you were convinced of God's existence, the offer of the Gospel (Christ's death, burial, resurection on behalf of sinners [Isaiah 53], with eternal life and forgiveness of sins freely given to all who will put their trust in him [John 3:16]) isn't something that would be all that desirable to you anyway. Am I mistaken?
