18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.

20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22Professing to be wise, they became fools,

23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

It makes me laugh and cry all at the same time.

Sure, Earth First is easy to laugh at. But what they bewail is no joke: life on Earth is indeed being destroyed. So they are concerned about is the loss of something real, while many people are only interested in something imaginary.

They are worshipping the creation, rather than the creator. It's all been done before.

If this wasn't so heart breaking it would be almost comedic. These people are worshiping trees, mourning the loss of a tree.I pray that their eyes are pried open like mine were and they see who it was that is responsible for the existence of all we have on earth.

Sad, don't they realize that there's an eternal
life that awaits those fallen timbers in Tree Heaven?

It's far more constructive than passing out tracts for the sky lord. Perhaps they're a bit too...enthused about trees, but it's not an unworthy cause to be concerned about the environment.

I ask myself the same question, Billy.

I wouldn't be surprised if we'll soon be seeing this same human response along the Gulf Coast.
