Thanks for the tips Trish!
We in a semi rural area, so unfortunately we don't get anyone
coming to our door on Halloween.
For those with the same situation,
I'd recommend doing what we did last Saturday.
We bought some candy ( mini M&M packs work great) and tracts, then hit the streets of a nearby town for their downtown trick-or-treat.
We were able to hand out quite a few tracts and candy by simply standing on a street corner or walking the sidewalks.

Awesome, I don't think kids come to my door because I'm in an apartment, but its a good tip that I can use next year when I'm in my house. Can I link to the video in my blog?

Sure, Jason. Thanks!

Great info - I do the same and also include gifts for the parents such as the What Hollywood Believes audio CD and Why Christianity DVD. These are available in orders of 10 or more for only $1.50 to $2 each from livingwaters.com

This is a good idea. I was thinking of doing something like this. I obviously wasn't using my brain because i didnt think of the plastic bags... I have tons of tracts!
thanks.

Loved your ideas!

We also live in the country so no one comes to our house, but our team will be out in town on Halloween with our own little goodie bags, which include an ESV NT, Creepy Cash and a couple of pieces of candy. :)

Just finished giving out five bags of candy with kids MDB's. The coolest thing--nearly every bag had other tracts in it! Thanks for the tape trick.

Thank you so much for the idea of using the Illusion tracts at Halloween. I gave the "Hey Kids Test Your Memory" tract to the smaller kids with lots of candy, of course, but I also used your idea with the older kids using the Illusion tracts - they all loved it! I told them to show their friends and gave lots of candy, too. The children kept saying as they were going down the driveway, "this was the best house out of all of them!" Praise be to our Great GOD! Thank you, Trish!

This was an awesome Tip Trish! Thanks so much! Kids came to our door and we gave them the IQ test with the grave stone on it, like you did and a piece of candy! It was so awesome to think of how many kids got a tract!! I know a couple of kids down on my street so I packed little good bags with a tract in the bag like you did and gave it to them. I can't wait til next year to do the same!!

(By the way, the taping the candy on the million dollar bill, well I thought that was a brilliant idea just so you know!!)

Love in Christ,

Lissie
