The 1st person on my blog when it hits 200,000, wins THIS...

A Thirty-One Handbag!
Special Thanks to Kristen R. for donating this wonderful handbag
(ps I was tempted to keep it - it's a perfect little witnessing bag).

And it will be filled with various Gospel Tracts.
There are 5 pockets total.

3 on the inside...

And one on both sides of the outside.
Here's what you must do TO WIN:

If the counter turns to 200,000 and you're on my site...

1) Either take a photo of my blog (showing the counter at 200,000) then email me the picture (email [at] fishwithtrish.com)

2) Hit the "print screen" button and that will capture the blog (make sure you can see the hit counter before you hit the "print screen" button you can paste the picture onto a paint document after you print screen)...then send me an email as proof that you're the winner...

If its close to the 200,000th mark (within 15 hits give or take) send me a photo and if no one sends a photo of the blog with the counter at "200,000", I will choose the person who comes closest to the 200,000th mark to win the bag.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Open to U.S. and Canada residents only.

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
Psalm 107:1

I'd like to win cause I really need the tracks due to lack of funds, but I o.k. with not winning someone needs it more than myself. I did want to comment on the tracks you suggested for the court house job I'm helping at. It is great. I got bail bondsman who took some, lawyers and plenty of one dayers. I have only picked up one off the ground. That's not bad. I pass out the intelligence survey, too. I prayed over all these tracks before I ever got them in the mail. I just wanted to say thanks for all y'all do in spreading the gospel of Christ.

It's not my color.

Actually, I do have something more serious to say and I've been asking around.

Women use handbags and so forth, but what do men use for "stock" on a tract-giving session? I'm reluctant to put them in pockets, because I want the tract to be as close to perfect as possible (unless I have folded a money tract). Do backpacks alarm security? Joseph's other coat, the coat of many pockets? Lousy in warmer seasons or climates.

Maybe a messenger bag or similar (I'm reluctant to get a "European Handbag" or man's purse, most guys I know feel it's too effeminate). Any suggestions? What have you seen in your experience?

Stormbringer - couple options for you. I have a denim jacket that has pockets inside and out. So it has plenty of storage space for tracts. It also has a couple of pockets up on the chest. I keep my voice recorder in one of those. The other pockets are great for tracts. I use mostly business card sized tracts which also fit nicely in my pocket without getting damaged.

callieg - if you could use 30 free tracts per month you are welcome to sign up for the Bezeugen Tract Club at www.bezeugentractclub.org

My friend Dennis uses a "map bag" it goes across the shoulder and holds a lot of tracts.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have to check those items out.

Carl, I think you're the same fellow who writes comments at Ray's place that I like, keep up the good work.

My first day of serious tract distribution, got chased out of the mall after only about fifty tracts. It's difficult in this town, everything is the mall, Wal-Mart or plaza. Security says, "Do not want". Still, it's live and pray and learn.

If I get an Indiana Jones satchel and call it by that name, the guys will let me keep my Man Card. Especially if it's weathered. More so if it's the $335 USD from Saddleback Leather. No, something cheaper for me.

Unrelated question: Where did you get the crumpled dollar bill tracts? I think I saw them on one of the 2 minute tip videos. Googled it. Found nothing. Checked Living Waters- nothing. Wah!!

Thanks!

Congrats to Julie L. from Florida for being the 200,000 person on my blog! And thanks to everyone else who was so very close. I really appreciate you trying to win. God bless each of you.

stormbringer - You've got to go "under cover" when handing out tracts in most malls. Typically the mall is private property and hence you can't just stand around handing out your tracts. What we do is we go and strike up conversations with people. Start with hello then ask simple questions like about the sporting events in the news or something. Then swing the conversation to the spiritual. "Did you hear that Don Meredith died? What do you think happens when a person dies?" At that point you can go to the good person test etc. Normally by the end of the conversation you can hand them a tract and not get thrown out of the mall! :-)
Laws may very by state. But this is what we are doing successfully here in Texas.
