Father,We come to You with humble hearts, bowing ourselves low before You and we thank You that You are the Sovereign God of the Universe. We thank You that You are in control of all things. We rest all of our hope and confidence in You.
Today, we want to ask that You would forgive us our sins and cleanse our nation of all unrighteousness. That You would have mercy on our land and that You would bless Barack Obama our new President. Please draw him to Your Son and save him and his family through repentance and faith in Christ. Make Yourself known to him and cause him to cling to Jesus Christ, the only One who is able to forgive him of his sins.
Father, thank you for the opportunity to proclaim the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ so freely here in America. We never want to take this for granted. Help us, as your children, to preach the gospel while there is time...forgive us for assuming that we will have tomorrow to do this.
Father, we pray that if there is anyone reading this who has not turned from their sins and placed their trust in the risen Savior Jesus Christ...that they would do so today. We want to humbly thank You for giving us breath to pray this prayer. We love You with all our being and place all of our hope only in You.
