Atheists Ignore Richard Dawkin's Advice

MEDIA ADVISORY, Oct. 6 /Christian Newswire/ -- Best-selling author, Ray Comfort, has once again instigated a giveaway of his special edition of Darwin's Origin of Species. In November of 2009 he mustered 2,000 Christians to pass out more than 220,000 copies of Darwin's famous book, which contained his 50-page Foreword explaining Intelligent Design and presenting the gospel. Approximately 170,000 of these were given to students in 100 of America's top universities. A clearly angered Richard Dawkins, who had encouraged students to tear out the Foreword, called Comfort "an idiot" on CNN when asked for his thoughts on the giveaway. Comfort said, "That just made him look bad. It's called an ad hominem attack -- when you have no argument against the message, so you attack the messenger." In March of 2010, when the Professor lectured in Australia and New Zealand, teams gave away over 20,000 books at his meetings.

During this past week, Dawkins has been speaking in five U.S. universities, and Comfort made sure that books were given away at every meeting. Comfort said, "In New York City, after the professor held up a copy of the book and told students to ignore it, students ignored him, and a thousand of them took books. The problem with any message is getting it to the people you want to reach. We have been able to get the book directly into the hands of thousands of atheists throughout the country. I was so delighted that the professor had pulled them all together for us, that I sent him a gift basket and a thank you note."

He says, "It doesn't worry me that he is laughing all the way to the bank as he peddles his little atheist trinkets, or sells his anti-God T-shirts and books to believers. What concerns me is that he does it under the guise of science and intellectualism. He believes that nothing created everything -- something that is totally unscientific, that we may have been created by aliens, that we are cousins of bananas. His latest book says that Einstein was an atheist, when he wasn't. Einstein warned about devious atheists when he said 'In view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support of such views.' Deceitfulness is nothing new for atheists. One popular poster shows pictures of eight icons of history, saying that they were all atheists. In truth, only one of those eight great men was an atheist, and he committed suicide after a miserable life as an alcoholic." bligbi.com/2008/09/08/atheism-good-enough-for-these-idiots/

Comfort added, "Dawkin's promotional literature, says 'science can provide the answers to many of the questions life on earth poses; questions previously considered better addressed by spiritual authorities.' That's just not true. Evolution believers haven't a clue where we came from, what we are doing here, or where we go after we die. To look to professor Dawkins for answers to life's big questions, is like looking to a blind man for advice about what color you should paint your house."

Stephen Hawking Breaks Atheist Rules

Contact: Trisha Ramos, livingwaters.com, 800-437-1893

MEDIA ADVISORY, Sept. 2 /Christian Newswire/ -- According to professor Stephen Hawking, God didn't create the universe. Instead, nothing created everything. However, according to the author of the book, Nothing Created Everything -- the scientific impossibility of atheistic evolution, Stephen Hawking has violated the basic laws of science. Ray Comfort created an international storm of angry protest from the atheist community in 2009, when he gave away 170,000 copies of Charles Darwin's On Origin of Species to 170,000 students at 100 of the top universities in the United States, as well as universities in England, Australia and New Zealand. The book contained a 50-page Foreword, in which Comfort gave the case for creationism.

An extract of Hawking's latest book, The Grand Design, was published in Eureka magazine in The Times, in which the professor said: "Because there is a law such as gravity, the Universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the Universe exists, why we exist." Comfort, said, "It is embarrassingly unscientific to speak of anything creating itself from nothing. Common sense says that if something possessed the ability to create itself from nothing, then that something wasn't nothing, it was something -- a very intelligent creative power of some sort."

The best-selling author and TV co-host, added, "Hawking has violated the unspoken rules of atheism. He isn't supposed to use words like 'create' or even 'made.' They necessitate a Creator and a Maker. Neither are you supposed to let out that the essence of atheism is to believe that nothing created everything, because it's unthinking. It confirms the title of another book I wrote, called, You Can Lead an Atheist to Evidence, but You Can't Make Him Think. Nor should an atheist speak of gravity as being a 'law,' because that also denotes the axiom of a Law-giver. Laws don't happen by themselves. But look at how careless the professor was, with his, 'The Big Bang was the result of the inevitable laws of physics and did not need God to spark the creation of the Universe.'"

It seems that Professor Hawking has changed his mind about the need for God. Back in 1988, in his book A Brief History of Time, he said, "If we discover a complete theory, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason -- for then we should know the mind of God." Einstein said that he wanted to know the mind of God. Comfort maintains, "Both men can easily find the mind of God and through it see how we were created -- 'In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth' something of which we were reminded when the first manned mission to moon read from Genesis chapter one. We need to read it again."

Comfort is writing a series of books on men who, for good or evil, changed the course of history, and what they believed about God. It will include Einstein, Hitler, Churchill, Ghandi and The Beatles. He said, "This generation is having an atheist revival, because they have been fed the lie that atheism is intelligent when it's obviously not. We are hoping that this series of books will give them the perspective they are missing. No doubt there will be opposition to the series because atheists are afraid of their core beliefs being exposed. That's why they tried to stop us giving out Darwin's book, and flooded Amazon.com and gave my books low reviews. No one likes to be seen as a fool, but that's what they are." Two atheists agree to meet for ice-cream

Meet Caleb. He was on Wretched Radio with Todd Friel on Wednesday.

I tried to take better pictures of him but the minute I handed him the phone, to talk with Todd, he began walking very quickly back and forth on the University North Texas campus.

Here's another attempt to take a pic of him but it turned out a bit blurry.

After the program, Caleb and his new friend (Justin) accepted my offer to meet for ice-cream with my husband and I to talk more about our opposing worldviews. I'm looking forwarded to hearing from them.

Caleb thank you for being on the air with Todd on Wednesday - it really means a lot that you'd take the time to do this. Justin, if you're reading this...thank you for taking the time to listen to me share the Gospel with you. I know that it sounded like foolishness to you...but like I said, God uses the foolishness of preaching to save people from their sins. If you're both reading this, you still have time to be reconciled to God. Don't wait another minute. Please consider the words of Jesus Christ (John 14:6). I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys to set up another time to meet and bring some friends too. Please feel free to leave a comment below.

The Back of the Doggit Tract Revealed

Hi Friends, I've made couple of changes to my new "Doggit" tract. If you remember, the front was going to say, "IQ Test" but it will now say something like “Biology Test”.

With the help of my friend, Paul Taylor (Senior Speaker / Head of Media) with Answers in Genesis in Europe I've come to the finalize the text that will appear on the back of the tract. This is what it will read:

“If you guessed ‘Doggit’ (a mix between a dog and a rabbit) then you’re right! Evolutionists say that there must be transitional fossils, representing the evolution of one kind of animal into another, by incremental changes over millions of years. Although there appear to be transitional forms, showing the development of new species within kinds, this would be expected within a biblical worldview, where God made animals to reproduce according to their kind, but there are no fossils showing intermediates between two different kinds. Dogs developed from wolves, within the dog kind. They do not change into cats! What we can learn from fossils is that those creatures lived, were buried suddenly, and died. Have you ever wondered where you will go when you die? Judge yourself by the 10 Commandments to see if you are good enough to go to Heaven - Have you lied (even once), stolen (value is irrelevant), dishonored your parents? Those are just three of the 10 commandments and if you broke one, on Judgment Day you'll be found guilty and end up in Hell. But God made a way for you to be forgiven! Jesus Christ took the punishment sinners deserve for breaking God's Laws when He died on the cross, and then rose from the dead. If you repent and trust in Him, God will forgive your sins and grant you everlasting life. You may not have tomorrow. Please don't wait another minute to be reconciled to God.”

Finally, here's a few comments from Paul Taylor in his recent email to me - I thought you might be blessed by this, "I agree that the purpose of fossils is to speak about death and God’s judgment. Just as the Israelites were supposed to answer their children about the stones of witness, when they asked “what mean these stones?”, we need to tell our children what the fossils mean – that God ended His first world with a judgment of water, but sent an Ark of salvation. Similarly, there will be a Day of Judgment of fire, and we need Jesus, our Ark of Salvation, to fireproof us against the judgment to come."

I thank God for Paul and all our friends at Answers In Genesis. Thank you Paul for your assistance with this tract!

Stuart was on Hour 1 of Wretched Radio with Todd Friel on Thursday, Feb. 26 2009. Stuart was a Buddhist monk that held to an atheistic worldview. If you remember, he had a few problems. Perhaps you might be able to help him out...
