Trish-
I am so glad you posted this. After we watched "Hollywood Be Thy Name" of the Way of the Master series...we both came away shocked and heavily convicted. That was over three years ago and since then we decided to committ to not watching anything that had blasphemy, cursing, or did not honor marriage/sensuality. Some might read that and that and think...what do you watch now??! You would be surprised, we committed this area to the Lord and we have found TONS of things you can watch that are wholesome and clean. I love that you posted this and would love to assist in anyway in helping you to flag movies, and also promote other good things to watch in place of it.

Blessings sis!
Lori

Great video and great website, although it would be even better if there was a list of movies that were free from blasphemy :)
God bless you!

Harriet, that's a really good idea but the reason why we list the movies that contain blasphemy is so that we can contact their producers and express our opinion. Not sure if you noticed, but next to each movie is the "studio contact" info. We have a lot of people that are emailing, calling, and writing to share their thoughts with these companies. Hope you can join in.

God bless!

Vince and I are actually thinking of putting together a list of clean movies on our website. We got the same comment that Harriet said when we re-blogged this to people. We have found some really good movies that are free from anything that would not be pleasing to God. So that's on the horizon for us. Thanks Trish!

When we think of 1st John 5:19, and other Scriptures, we know what to expect from movies: "The whole world lies in, or is under the power of, the evil one [or, is laid in the wickedness and evil]."

Considering the holiness and purity we're all called to, and the need to keep our minds renewed, and godless lifestyles in general, maybe we need to be more radical in our responses to the entertainment industry per se.
