MEDIA ADVISORY, Oct. 6 /Christian Newswire/ -- Best-selling author, Ray Comfort, has once again instigated a giveaway of his special edition of Darwin's Origin of Species. In November of 2009 he mustered 2,000 Christians to pass out more than 220,000 copies of Darwin's famous book, which contained his 50-page Foreword explaining Intelligent Design and presenting the gospel. Approximately 170,000 of these were given to students in 100 of America's top universities. A clearly angered Richard Dawkins, who had encouraged students to tear out the Foreword, called Comfort "an idiot" on CNN when asked for his thoughts on the giveaway. Comfort said, "That just made him look bad. It's called an ad hominem attack -- when you have no argument against the message, so you attack the messenger." In March of 2010, when the Professor lectured in Australia and New Zealand, teams gave away over 20,000 books at his meetings.

During this past week, Dawkins has been speaking in five U.S. universities, and Comfort made sure that books were given away at every meeting. Comfort said, "In New York City, after the professor held up a copy of the book and told students to ignore it, students ignored him, and a thousand of them took books. The problem with any message is getting it to the people you want to reach. We have been able to get the book directly into the hands of thousands of atheists throughout the country. I was so delighted that the professor had pulled them all together for us, that I sent him a gift basket and a thank you note."
He says, "It doesn't worry me that he is laughing all the way to the bank as he peddles his little atheist trinkets, or sells his anti-God T-shirts and books to believers. What concerns me is that he does it under the guise of science and intellectualism. He believes that nothing created everything -- something that is totally unscientific, that we may have been created by aliens, that we are cousins of bananas. His latest book says that Einstein was an atheist, when he wasn't. Einstein warned about devious atheists when he said 'In view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support of such views.' Deceitfulness is nothing new for atheists. One popular poster shows pictures of eight icons of history, saying that they were all atheists. In truth, only one of those eight great men was an atheist, and he committed suicide after a miserable life as an alcoholic." bligbi.com/2008/09/08/atheism-good-enough-for-these-idiots/
Comfort added, "Dawkin's promotional literature, says 'science can provide the answers to many of the questions life on earth poses; questions previously considered better addressed by spiritual authorities.' That's just not true. Evolution believers haven't a clue where we came from, what we are doing here, or where we go after we die. To look to professor Dawkins for answers to life's big questions, is like looking to a blind man for advice about what color you should paint your house."

If you tamper with evolution, you're threatening the cornerstone of the atheist religion; it gives an "intellectual" pretense at rejecting God. So, if you question facts, show contrary viewpoints and alternative explanations, offer evidence for said alternative explanations, offer facts — you're threatening it. Since they cannot tolerate rivals, they do their best to eliminate them. Especially when you dare to antagonize the high priest of atheism.
Compare questioning evolutionism and atheism to burning Korans and Islam. Both actions get you vehement reactions.
There's nothing wrong with questioning either, and there are several alternatives to atheism that I find perfectly reasonable. The problem lies with intent. There's not sincere desire to learn here: you're just pushing an agenda.
I dare say questioning Christianity gets a similar reaction as evidenced by Living Waters' stalking of Dawkins.
He's also no leader of atheism nor evolution, and that's why people don't just mindlessly follow his advice. This press release contains no surprising information.
I love these give-aways, I sincerely hope you guys are guys on track for the million you guys talked about previously.
