There are 6 pockets on the inside - just the perfect size to fit all your tracts. (Bible, wallet and little shoe not included. The shoe is for a new "2 Minute Tip" that I'll share with you in the days to come).
Sorry, dog and flowers not included. :-)
There is 1 pocket on the front and 1 on the back (on the outside of the bag) - making a total of 8 pockets!
Here's what you must do TO WIN:
If the counter turns to 150,000 and you're on my site...
1) Either take a photo of my blog and email (email [at] fishwithtrish.com) it to me as proof that you were the 150,000th person, or
2) Hit the "print screen" button and that will capture the blog (make sure you can see the hit counter before you hit the "print screen" button you can paste the picture onto a paint document after you print screen)...then send me an email as proof...
If its close to the 150,000th mark (within 15 hits give or take) send me a photo and if no one sends a photo of the blog with the counter at "150,000", I will choose the person who comes closest to the 150,000th mark to win the bag. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

I have no idea what this says. Anyone have the interpretation?
Don't trust it unless you're confident that your firewall and anti-virus are working well...
Trish,
I'd delete it if I were you. I saw one like this over at Wayne Dawg's blog and it linked to porn.
Any reason why my last comment didn't make it through, by the way?
Cheers,
Oh, I want that bag and tracts so bad! Thanks Trish, but I think it'll take a while until you reach the 150,000 mark. Oh darn!
Thanks Matt. I took your advice. Not sure why your comment didn't make it through. You can repost it. I may have deleted it on accident.
Debunkey Monkey, are you considering repenting and trusting in Christ?
No worries Trish,
The comment was merely a re-posting of the same comment you've ignored (or not seen) for the past 3 posts
Here it is;
"In a previous thread, Craig noted that he didn't believe for a second that you (or the LW team) thought that the doggit was a viable representation of what evolutionists mean by the term 'transitional' species.
Could you please clarify this?
Do you think that the doggit is a valid example of what evolutionists think evolution predicts?
Your statement regarding dogs and cats seems to imply that you think evolution does say that dogs evolve into cats or some such thing, but I can't be sure because of your ambiguous and muddled terminology.
You seem to be accepting speciation (the emergence of new species) in this post, just like Ray did in his discussion with Thunderf00t, is this the case?
I'd appreciate it if you replied to me this time, you've been somewhat distant of late.
Regards,"
If you can find the time (I know it has been Thanksgiving recently and that must have been a busy time - hope you had a good one, BTW) I'd appreciate a reply.
Cheers,
I am loving all those pockets on the inside! That is awesome. :)
Matt, I deleted it because I'd rather have you post it under a different post. Thank you.
Trish,
You said;
"Matt, I deleted it because I'd rather have you post it under a different post. Thank you".
So, when you said;
"Not sure why your comment didn't make it through. You can repost it. I may have deleted it on accident"
You meant 'on purpose?', not 'by accident'?
Good to know.
Either way, I've posted the question on four different posts now. Where would you like me to post it? Will you answer it?
Cheers,
You can post it on any post to do with atheism. I apologize for the delay in answering your questions. I try to answer as many as I can but I'm not always able to. Thank you for your patience and for understanding.
Trish,
It's got nothing to do with atheism, it's about evolution and it's right there, post #8, in this very thread.
Just tell me if you're not planning on answering it, I'll understand.
Regards,

I'm always open to new ideas. I just haven't really been convinced that Christianity or one of its thousands of sects is the one true religion though.
A lot of bible tracts proclaim that Christianity is the only path to salvation, but many other religions say they are the one true path. How can I trust that Christianity is true and not Hinduism or any of the thousands of other religions that exist?
I never got a decent answer to this question. I've heard people say, "Hell exists so Buddhism must be wrong" or something like that. And that essentially boils down to "Christianity is right because it's right."
Maybe there's a tract out there that answers that question.
Matt
I'll just speak out of turn here though your comments have been directly aimed at Trish.
If you're asking if the doggitt shows a valid example of what evolution describes as a transitional form the answer is no. It is satire. It is an image designed to show the absurdity of the macroevolution.
I am pleading with you to please listen to the absurdity of our origins coming from chance and see it for what it is... it isn't science man... even Darwin said that his ideas were likely unfounded.
I am pleading with you to listen to your conscience. I argue for creation and God not for the purpose of winning an intellectual argument... even though the proof of God is all around (Psalm 19:1 - the heavens declare...)
not to win, but to plead with you to understand that there is a God who gave you life and one day, whether you like it or not... whether you believe it or not... you will have to stand before Him as we all will in judgment where you will give an account for your life as will we all. The only hope you have of escaping the wrath of God for your sins is by clinging to Jesus Christ. Who paid the debt. Don't you see. God's justice demands wrath for our transgression but God's love made a way for us to be redeemed. Set free!!
And that WAY is JESUS! That's the love of God... the Bible says it is not His will than any perish but that all come to know Christ!
I'm not trying to provoke any sort of argument with you... and I hope that in my response you hear that though I don't know you, I care about you... I love you because Christ loves me... I love you, to quote a friend of mine, 'in a Jesus way'.
In a way that desperately wants to see you saved. And to see any who are lost be saved.
I won't engage in any discussion with you on this comment thread but if you'd like to email me you are free to do so and I would be happy to answer as many questions as I can... I'm not perfect for all knowing... but I'll do my best...
Just click on my username on this comment and it will take you to my blog where you can find my email address...
I prayerfully await your response...

j,
Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your concern for my eternal soul and all that other stuff that you believe in (or know about, if you prefer), I really do.
I know you said you won't engage in discussion in this thread, and maybe I'll take you up on your offer and email you, but I wanted to respond to this;
"It is an image designed to show the absurdity of the macroevolution".
As you admitted two sentences previous to this, the image does not represent anything predicted by evolutionary theory, so how can it possibly have anything to say about 'macroevolution'?
The only thing it says is that the person who created it doesn't know anything about evolution - that's not satire, it's just being wrong.
Not only that, but it misleads people who are not scientifically literate to think that this is what evolution predicts and that's just plain lying to people.
However, if you respond to just one thing, I'd like you to back up this assertion;
"Darwin said that his ideas were likely unfounded".
Thanks,
Trish,
I'm giving serious thought to quitting your blog - your continual dishonesty, evasion and your apparent lack of intellectual integrity are wearing me out.
Cheers,
"I'm giving serious thought to quitting your blog - your continual dishonesty, evasion and your apparent lack of intellectual integrity are wearing me out."
I have tried to be as honest as possible with the information that I have at my disposal but regardless of what your assessment of me is, you still must contend with Jesus Christ and His Word. He will judge you on that great day not me.
Best wishes, sir.
Debunkey Monkey,
Have you read the tract "Why Christianity" one of Ray Comfort's tracts?
How about "Jesus Among the Other gods" by Ravi Zacharius?
I know this was addressed to Debunking Monkey, but is there a way to find these on the web? I don't mean sound cheap, but after reading things like "Case for Christ" and "Mere Christianity", I really don't want to spend money on more of the same.
The problem with most apologetics and tracts is that they are written for those already convinced, not unbelievers.
perdita wrote the following: The problem with most apologetics and tracts is that they are written for those already convinced, not unbelievers.
Bingo!
Why can't tracts actually be addressed at non-believers in an attempt to convince them of the existence of the Christian God? They're invariably written as if the writer expects the reader to already be a Christian...
@perdita
I don't know if you can find any of those things to read for free online but I do know that you can probably find youtube videos of most authors and preachers on the subject of God's existence... John MacArthur and John Piper just for two examples have made all their sermons free on their respective websites in text, audio, and video formats..
@matt - not ignoring you, just waiting for that email bud...
Thanks, j. I usually don't have the patience for a video - too much fluff. I found Ray's tract as a free pdf on the Living Waters site. (under store, under tracts) It's the parachute thing. But kudos to Ray for having it available for free.
perdita, glad you found it. Let me know if you have any questions after reading it and I'll try to answer.
Thanks, Trish. I have no questions about it. Unfortunately, the tract is really for those already predisposed to Christianity.

I've never seen those tracts. Are they available online?
If I win the bag, make sure to put those in there. ;)
Debunkey, you can find the pdf of the tract on this link http://www.livingwaters.com/tracts/512/Why_Christianity.pdf hope that helps.
Oh and if you win the bag, just make sure you pass out all the tracts to your non-Christian friends. :-)

Thanks. :)
I actually read a lot of that already in Ray's introduction to The Origin of the Species. In fact, it's copied verbatim.
It seems like it may be a strong argument for fence sitters or those who already believe, but for those of us that reject the notions of heaven, hell, and the authority of the Bible, the whole parachute argument isn't very persuasive.
Similarly, explaining why Christianity is "different" is not the same as explaining why Christianity is true.
Maybe you should work with an atheist to make a tract for atheists. :-)
I appreciated reading it, though, and I thank you for the link to the PDF.
Oh and if you win the bag, just make sure you pass out all the tracts to your non-Christian friends. :-)
Of course. I wouldn't have it any other way. Besides, it would be a waste to keep them all or throw them away. :)
Any chance of winning this from Scotland if I pay the postage myself???!!
Dawn x
I was 150,001, I don't know if I won, but that is really close to the 150,000. I don't know if some one got exactly on it, though. I hope I win, either way, thanks to God for me getting so close! I was praying to win it many times to Him. So it's special no matter what to get so close! :D
Congrats Jennifer Mattingly for winning the handbag!
Did the winner get exactly 150,000th? I thought I was pretty close even though it wasn't exact. Please let me know. Thanks and congrats to the winner. I thought I was gonna win. :P
It would be nice to get a consolation prize, for being so close. But either way. Thanks for the contest! Please have more. Thanks! :)
Melissa, you'll be happy to know that even though you didn't win the bag...you did win a pack of the Doggit tract, remember?? They are going out in tomorrow's mail for you. Take care, friend.
Oh yeah I did get the doggit one's already. Thank you. I am not meaning to be greedy I appreciate all. I just really wanted to win the bag, that's all, but so did many other people. I know. :P
Oh good...you already got them. Glad to hear it!
