Feeling down? Why don't you take an hour and do this...

Pick some flowers...

Grab the kids...

Find a local nursing home...

Bring joy to a dark place...

Let them smell the flowers.

Share the Everlasting Gospel...

with those whose heads hang low...

"Pure and undefiled religion in the
sight of our God and Father is this...

....to visit orphans and widows in their distress,
and to keep oneself unstained by the world." James 1:27
I can guarantee you will be blessed by the time you leave...

...and so will they.

Special thanks to my dear friends Damion and Julie
at HisCreations for providing these photos for my blog.
These photos are precious. They remind me of
decades ago when I was little and my dad
took me to see my great grandmother.
Thanks for capturing such wonderful moments.

Trish,

This is an excellent post and an example of one of the many creative ways you give us to share our faith and one of the creative ways you encourage us to get out there and do it! For those reasons I am nominating you as a KREATIVE BLOGGER. You can stop by my blog to check it out.

I love it Trish!

It's a shame that the non-believers will never be able to truly appreciate God's creation in all its wonder and glory.

We keep on praying for them though, eh?

Great stuff. Some of the happiest moments of my life have been some of the most innocuous. Just doing something nice for someone else can be incredibly fulfilling.

As for Born a Second time's comment: It's a shame that the non-believers will never be able to truly appreciate God's creation in all its wonder and glory.

I appreciate it quite a bit, thank you very much. Possibly more than you, perhaps, as I'm humble enough to not claim I know how much others do.

But that would be my pride speaking, wouldn't it...
