You've got to see this clip from a well-known atheist after he is handed a Bible

Penn Jillette is a well-known atheist. He is the taller, louder half of the magic and comedy act Penn and Teller. He is the one who said, “I cross the word ‘God’ off every bill I touch…” He said, “I'm beyond atheism.” Ray Comfort pointed this video out to me tonight. Listen to what Penn says when a man gives him a Bible...

I think an atheist just inspired me to witness. :-) How much hate does someone have to have towards a person NOT to witness. So true. I will be praying for this man's heart to be softened.

Thank you for sharing.

He seemed touched and I have always found him to be thoughtful in his approach to things. I don't always agree with him but that said I pray that he will crack that bible he was given and the word & Spirit will bring him to repentance and faith.
Not because he is famous but because he like the rest of who God kindly saves will bring glory to God.

At first blush this might seem like a softened heart, but I have a feeling that his attitude would be the same if any sincere person of faith handed him their "book". You can never tell where someone is at, but in my experience the most accepting person is the one that is the most distant. I'd say there is more hope for the bloggers on Rays blog than this guy. Maybe I am totally missing the point.... wouldn't be the first time.... but that's my take. :/

Thanks Ray for this truly encouraging video. If Mr. Jillette despite his belief can say that when a christian approaches a person with truthfulness, kindness, and real compasion, even an avowed atheist can give that person credit for standing for what he believes; we should all join in the bandwagon and finally fulfill one of God's commandments to all who belong to Him.
By the way, The Way of the Master, Mr. Mark Cahill, along with Trisha here should be our models as how to seek and have God save the lost the way Jesus did.
