Hamas Founder's Son Escapes from Terrorist Organization...plus an exciting announcement!

Sit tight and watch the Fox News Special “Escape from Hamas”. It features an interview with Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of one of the Hamas founders, who converted to Christianity after a Christian tourist to Israel gave him a Bible. The first time I saw these videos both Emilio and I watched the 6 part series and were glued. We rejoiced that Mosab became a Christian and I wanted to contact him to say how blessed we were about his profession of Christ. So I did and some exciting things happened. I'll be sharing more with you in the days to come.

Ray Comfort, along with Kirk Cameron, who originated the tract idea many years ago, recently decided to combine A-list celebrities with the millions and the tracts have really taken off. In fact, I bought several packs, while I was in California last weekend, and have given away almost all of them...people are coming back and asking for more!

Look what Ray said in a recent press release about the new millions, “We normally experiment with a new title and get a first print of 50,000. But we had a first run of a million with these because we knew people would love them. Each pack of 100 has 20 A-list actors in the set, and when people see that there are different images they run after you and ask for more. They even ask if they are for sale, because the tracts have perceived value and look like a collector’s item.”

For those of you that are concerned that this might get Ray in trouble with the authorities...don't worry...he was very careful to check with lawyers as to copyright concerns, and has been assured that he is well within his First Amendment and free speech rights.

A Prayer for the New President of the United States of America

Father,

We come to You with humble hearts, bowing ourselves low before You and we thank You that You are the Sovereign God of the Universe. We thank You that You are in control of all things. We rest all of our hope and confidence in You.

Today, we want to ask that You would forgive us our sins and cleanse our nation of all unrighteousness. That You would have mercy on our land and that You would bless Barack Obama our new President. Please draw him to Your Son and save him and his family through repentance and faith in Christ. Make Yourself known to him and cause him to cling to Jesus Christ, the only One who is able to forgive him of his sins.

Father, thank you for the opportunity to proclaim the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ so freely here in America. We never want to take this for granted. Help us, as your children, to preach the gospel while there is time...forgive us for assuming that we will have tomorrow to do this.

Father, we pray that if there is anyone reading this who has not turned from their sins and placed their trust in the risen Savior Jesus Christ...that they would do so today. We want to humbly thank You for giving us breath to pray this prayer. We love You with all our being and place all of our hope only in You.

Cold Feet

I should have worn some tennis shoes and socks today but

it was worth having cold feet (literally) for the Gospel's sake.

REALLY tall...sort of like Todd Friel.
Speaking of Todd...I'll be seeing him this weekend in CA at
"Transformed" maybe I'll take a photo with him and
take one of my shoes off to see how tall he is.

Tyler was on Hour 1 of Wretched Radio.

Josh was on Hour 2 of Wretched Radio.

Not only did Tyler and Josh hear the
Gospel today...but so did all their friends.

Kristen (left) and Paige (middle) drove an hour just to
join me today for the radio...thanks girls for coming out!

Here's what Kristen has to say about what happened today: "Josh and Tyler were hesitant to talk at first, but then opened up a lot once all their friends started showing up. After talking to Ray they said they had never had the gospel presented to them "that way" and said it all made sense. We talked to their friends as well and they all said the same thing. If they haven't already repented and put their trust in Jesus I hope and pray they don't wait until it's too late."

And Paige said: "One by one Tyler's friends came from around the corner.....maybe they thought they would gather round to "save HIM from US"....little did they know were gonna get some good news to be saved themselves. In Josh's words, (from hour 2) "the gospel message is intense, and makes sense." Please pray for our youth. "

and cousin (Shantel). Both Shate and Shantel

are pregnant out of wed-lock.

"T" agrees to be on "Wretched Radio" to talk

about his religious thoughts.

John MacArthur "throwing down the BLAM"!

Maybe you're asking what does "throwing down the BLAM" mean?

It's a term that one of my friends said one night as a few

of us where talking theology and fellowshipping around a round table

and it has stuck with us ever since. It basically means:

taking a chunk of truth and proclaim it strongly to someone.

Watch several short clips and see if you can count how

many times John MacArthur "throws down the BLAM"....

I love saying that! :-)

Sovereign Joy's First Attempt to Advertise

My church isn't too big on advertising and things but

our pastors decided to give it a shot and

ran an add in The Keller Citizen (a local newspaper that's

sent out to something like 40,000 homes every Friday).

Look where our advertisement was placed...

right next to a church that said, "WE'RE ALL ABOUT PEOPLE"....Hmmmm...I wonder what our next advertisement should say??
